Abstract

Sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Nees) merupakan salah satu tanaman obat herbal yang banyak dibutuhkan dalam industri obat tradisional di Indonesia. Kandungan utama dari daun sambiloto adalah andrografolid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tanaman sambiloto yang telah mendapatkan tambahan unsur Sulfur, Kalsium, Kalium, Fosfat dan mengetahui senyawa mana yang tepat untuk peningkatan kadar andrografolid. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk identifikasi yaitu dengan KLT dan penetapan kandungan andrografolid menggunakan spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Hasil pada pertumbuhan rata-rata tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun yaitu dengan penambahan pupuk KNO3 0,44 gram. Pada hasil KLT seluruh sampel ekstrak metanol sambiloto terdapat senyawa andrografolid, dapat dilihat dari noda yang sejajar dengan standar andrografolid pada nilai Rf 0,5. Hasil penetapan kandungan andrografolid tertinggi didapatkan pada tanaman CaCI2 0,19 gram pada daun sebesar 15,65%. ----- Sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Nees) is one of the herbal medicinal plants that is much needed in the traditional medicine industry in Indonesia. The main content of bitter leaf is andrographolide. This research aims to determine the effect of bitter plants which have received additional elements of Sulfur, Calcium, Pottasium, Phosphate and to find out which compounds are appropriate for increasing andrographolide levels. The research method used for identification was TLC and determination of andrographolide content using UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The result in the average growth pf plant height and number of leaves were by adding 0,44 grams of KNO3 fertilizer. In the TLC results, all samples of bitter methanol extract contained andrographolide compounds, which can be seen from the stains which were parallel to the andrographolide standard at an Rf value of 0,5. The results of determining the highest andrographolide content were obtained in CaCI2 plants with 0,19 grams in the leaves of 15,65%
