Abstract
Hiperlipidemia adalah kondisi di mana terjadi peningkatan kadar lipid (lemak) dalam darah, termasuk kolesterol, trigliserida, LDL, dan penurunan kadar HDL. Sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f) Ness) merupakan tanaman obat yang memiliki khasiat menurunkan kadar lemak darah secara praklinik pada tikus. Andrografolid (diterpen lakton) merupakan salah satu senyawa yang terkandung dalam sambiloto yang diketahui bertanggung jawab terhadap aktivitas sebagai antihiperlipidemia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian isolat andrografolid dalam memperbaiki profil lipid hewan uji. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode induksi pakan kaya lemak dan metode CHOD-PAP. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara kelompok perlakuan dosis 3 sebesar 4,5 mg/KgBB dengan kontrol pembanding simvastatin. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa isolat andrografolid memiliki efektivitas dalam menurunkan kolesterol, trigliserida, LDL, dan meningkatkan HDL seperti simvastatin. --- Hyperlipidemia is a condition in which there is an increase in lipid (fat) levels in the blood, including cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, and a decrease in HDL levels. Sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f) Ness) is a medicinal plant that has the property of reducing blood fat levels preclinically in rats. Andrographolide (diterpene lactone) is one of the compounds contained in sambiloto which is known to be responsible for its activity as an antihyperlipidemia. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of andrographolide isolate in improving the lipid profile of test animal. This study used the fat-rich feed induction method and the CHOD-PAP method. Based on the results obtained, there was no significant difference between the treatment group dose 3 of 4,5 mg / KgBB with simvastatin comparison control. It can be concluded that andrographolide isolate has effectiveness in lowering cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, and increasing HDL like simvastatin.
