Abstract

Kepatuhan penggunaan antibiotik amoksisilin di Indonesia jauh lebih banyak dan mencemaskan karena penggunaan dosis dan waktu terapi yang tidak sesuai yang dapat menimbulkan masalah meningkatnya resistensi terhadap penggunaan antibiotika amoksisilin kepatuhan pasien terhadap penggunaan antibiotik amoksisilin sangat mempengaruhi terjadinya resistensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepatuhan pasien tentang penggunaan antibiotik amoksisilin dan mengetahui perbedaan tingkat kepatuhan berdasarkan karakteristik penggunaan antibiotik amoksisilin di Puskesmas Sukamerindu Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif, yaitu menggambarkan persentase mengenai tingkat kepatuhan pasien tentang penggunaan antibiotik amoksisilin di Puskesmas Sukamerindu Kota Bengkulu. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan, dari jumlah responden sebanyak 89 orang yang patuh sebanyak 46 responden (51,69%) dan yang tidak patuh sebanyak 43 responden(48,31%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini didapatkan tingkat kepatuhan pasien tentang penggunaan antibiotik amoksisilin di Puskesmas Sukamerindu Kota Bengkulu masuk dalam kategori patuh. Saran bagi Puskesmas Sukamerindu Kota Bengkulu agar pelayanan dalam pemberian informasi obat dipertahankan dan ditingkatkan lagi. --- The compliance of amoxicillin antibiotic usage in Indonesia was much higher and concerning due to inappropriate dosing and therapy durations, which could lead to an increase in antibiotic resistance to amoxicillin. Patient compliance with amoxicillin antibiotic usage significantly affected the occurrence of resistance. The study aimed to determine the level of patient compliance regarding amoxicillin antibiotic usage and to identify differences in compliance levels based on the characteristics of amoxicillin antibiotic usage at the Sukamerindu Primary Health Center in Bengkulu City. This was a descriptive study, which portrayed the percentage of patient compliance regarding amoxicillin antibiotic usage at the Sukamerindu Primary Health Center in Bengkulu City. The results of the study showed that out of 89 respondents, 46 respondents (51.69%) were compliant and 43 respondents (48.31%) were non-compliant. The conclusion drawn from this research was that the level of patient compliance regarding amoxicillin antibiotic usage at the Sukamerindu Primary Health Center in Bengkulu City fell within the compliant category. A suggestion for the Sukamerindu Primary Health Center in Bengkulu City was to maintain and further enhance the provision of medication information services.
