Abstract

--- Plants are an active source of metabolites used in treatment and primary sources for natural product insulation. The nature of the drug in plants is caused by the presence of secondary metabolites, including alkaloids, tannins, and saponins, which are very important because they have biological activity. Histochemical analysis is used to confirm the identification of the distribution of chemical compounds in biological cells and tissues in different organs under the microscope using the color stain reaction technique and photography recording using miksroscope. The purpose of this literature study is to gather information about the distribution of mimosoideae subfamili plant metabolites analyzed histochemically. The data collection method uses a search on goodle scholar and pubmed with the keyword Fabaceae, subfamili mimosoideae, histochemical analysis, secondary metabolites. Based on the search results, 25 related journals were obtained but only in 7 journals that met the inclusion requirements in the research method. Overall, in the seeds, leaves, roots and stems of the mimosoideae subfamili plant is detected by many secondary metabolitic compounds but the location of the discovery is based on reagent and the number of magnification as well as the type of microscope used.
