Abstract
Kulit merupakan organ pertama yang terkena dampak buruk radikal bebas yang dapat merusak kulit, radikal bebas dapat dicegah menggunakan antioksidan. Kefir susu kambing dan kulit buah naga merah memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang dapat melawan radikal bebas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendapatkan masker gel peel-off yang memiliki aktivitas antioksidan . Pada penelitian ini dibuat tiga optimasi basis dengan variasi polivinyl alkohol dengan konsentrasi berturut-turut 1,5%; 3%; dan 6%; hasil menunjukan bahwa konsentrasi 6% merupakan basis paling baik sehingga dibuat formula masker gel peel-off yaitu formula 1, formula 2, dan formula 3 dengan variasi konsentrasi ekstrak pada kefir berturut-turut 1%; 2%; 4% sebagai antioksidan. Hasil evaluasi sediaan masker gel peel-off diantaranya organoleptis, penetapan pH, viskositas, daya sebar, homogenitas, waktu sediaan mengering, uji iritasi yang memenuhi persyaratan dan uji aktivitas antioksidan dengan metode DPPH yang menunjukkan Formula 1 memiliki IC50 sebesar 347 ppm tidak termasuk kedalam kategori antioksidan, formula 2 memiliki IC50 sebesar 102,95 ppm dengan kategori sedang dan formula 3 memiliki IC50 74,06 ppm dengan kategori kuat. ---- Skin is the first organ to be badly affected by free radicals that can damage skin, free radicals can be prevented using antioxidants. Goat milk kefir and red dragon fruit skin have antioxidant activity that can fight free radicals. Purpose of this study was to obtain a peel-off gel mask that has antioxidant activity. In this research, three optimization bases were made with a variation of polyvinyl alcohol with a successive concentration of 1.5%; 3%; and 6%; The results showed that the concentration of 6% was best basis so that a peel-off gel mask formula was made formula 1, formula 2, and formula 3 with variations in extract concentration of 1% kefir; 2%; 4% as an antioxidant. The evaluation results of peel-off gel mask preparation included organoleptic, pH determination, viscosity, dispersion, homogenity, drying time, irritation test that met the requirements and antioxidant activity test using the DPPH method which showed Formula 1 had an IC50 of 347 ppm not included in the category. antioxidants, formula 2 has an IC50 of 102.95 ppm in medium category and formula 3 has an IC50 of 74.06 ppm in the strong category.
