Abstract
Memiliki nilai persen inhibisi pada uji antiinflamasi adalah 96,8% dan uji analgetik sebesar 100% --- Inflammation is a local protective response caused by tissue damage due to physical, chemical, or biological trauma. Ficus belongs to the family Moraceae, there are about 500 species that are widespread in tropical and subtropical countries. The genus Ficus has activities as anti-inflammatory and analgetic with plant parts of leaves, fruit, and skin. The review aims to collect scientific data on the content of secondary metabolites found in several species of the genus and look at the anti-inflammatory and analgesic potential of the genus Ficus. From the results of the review of the gemis, Ficus mostly have secondary metabolites namely flavonoids, steroids and terpenoid metabolites play a role in anti- inflammatory and analgesic activity. The most widely used anti-inflammatory method is the edema formation method while for analgetic testing the most widely used method is the writhing test, Methanol extract of Ficus microcarpa leaves has the most potent anti-inflammatory and analgetic activity among all species of the genus Ficus. Having an inhibition percent value on anti-inflammatory tests is 96.8% and analgetic tests by 100%
