Abstract

Rimpang jahe (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) dan jeruk lemon (Citrus limon (L.) Burm.f.) memiliki kandungan senyawa polifenol dan flavonoid yang dapat digunakan sebagai antiobesitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan aktivitas antiobesitas dari kombinasi ekstrak rimpang jahe dan jeruk lemon serta kombinasi ekstrak yang dibuat dalam sediaan edible film terhadap persentase penurunan berat badan tikus. Rimpang jahe diekstraksi menggunakan metode dekoktasi dan lemon hanya diambil sarinya lalu dikeringkan menggunakan frezee dry. Pengujian obesitas dilakukan menggunakan 25 ekor tikus jantan yang dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok masing-masing terdiri dari 5 ekor tikus. Kelompok tersebut terdiri dari kontrol normal, kontrol negatif, kontrol positif (Orlistat 47,52 mg/kgBB) p.o, kelompok uji kombinasi ekstrak dan sediaan edible film dengan dosis 40 mg/kgBB p.o. Semua kelompok kecuali kelompok normal diinduksi obesitas dengan pakan diet lemak tinggi selama ± 8 minggu. Tikus dinyatakan obesitas jika indeks Lee >0,3. Pengujian antiobesitas dilakukan selama 3 minggu. Hasil data diuji secara statistik menggunakan one way ANOVA dengan tingkat kepercayaan (p<0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelompok yang diberi ekstrak kombinasi rimpang jahe dan jeruk lemon dengan dosis 40 mg/kgBB menunjukkan persentase penurunan berat badan secara berurutan 12,42% dan 10,25%. Ekstrak kombinasi menghasilkan penurunan berat badan yang paling baik dengan persentase penurunan sebesar 12,42%.;---Ginger rhizome (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) and Lemon (Citrus limon (L.) Burm. F.) contain a chemical compound polyphenols and flavonoid that can be used as an antiobesity. This research aims to compare the antiobesity activity of the combination of ginger rhizome and lemon extract and combination of extracts made in edible film against the percentage of weight loss in rats. Ginger rhizome extracted using decoction method and lemon only taken the juice then dried using frezee dry. Testing of obesity was conducted using 25 male rats divided into 5 groups, each consisting of 5 mice. The group consists of normal control, negative control, positive control (Orlistat 47.52 mg/b.w) peroral, combination test group of extracts and edible film dose of 40 mg/b.w peroral. All groups except normal group at obesity induction with high fat diet for ±8 weeks. Rats expressed obesity if the index Lee >0.3. Antiobesity testing was conducted for 3 weeks. Data results are tested statistically using one way ANOVA with a confidence level (p<0.05). The results showed that the group was given combination of ginger and lemon dose 40 mg/b.w showed a percentage of weight loss sequentially 12,42% and 10,25%. Combination extracts produce the best weight loss with a decreased percentage of 12,42%.
