Abstract
PT Karunia Kencana Emas merupakan industri kosmetik dan kosmeseutikal dengan bisnis makloon. Dalam perhitungan harga pokok produksi di PT Karunia Kencana Emas secara konvensional menggunakan microsoft excel. Permasalahan tersebut perlu ditatalaksana dengan cara membuat sebuah aplikasi berbasis web untuk melakukan perhitungan harga pokok produksi setiap produk kosmetik dan kosmeseutikal yang dipesan. Tentunya pembebanan biaya yang harus dibayarkan oleh pelanggan bisa disajikan dengan cepat dan akurat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research & development dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Development, dan Disseminate) untuk mengembangkan aplikasi perhitungan harga pokok produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi perhitungan harga pokok produksi berhasil dikembangkan dan di uji coba diimplementasikan pada data pesanan PT Karunia Kencana Emas. Aplikasi ini membantu perusahaan dalam mengelola data bahan baku secara sistematis dan meminimalkan risiko kesalahan perhitungan. Aplikasi ini masih terbatas pada perhitungan harga pokok produksi belum memperhitungkan kebutuhan pelaporan keuangan lainnya. Sehingga, dibutuhkan pengembangan lebih lanjut di masa yang akan datang agar menjadi sistem keuangan komprehensif di PT Karunia Kencana Emas. --- PT Karunia Kencana Emas is a cosmetics and cosmeceutical industry engaged in contract manufacturing. The conventional method of calculating the cost of production at PT Karunia Kencana Emas involves using Microsoft Excel. This issue necessitates addressing through the development of a web-based application for calculating the cost of production for each ordered cosmetic and cosmeceutical product. This approach ensures that cost allocation for customers can be presented promptly and accurately. This research employs the research and development method with the 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate) to create the cost of production calculation application. The findings reveal the successful development and implementation testing of the cost of production calculation application using the data from PT Karunia Kencana Emas orders. This application aids the company in systematically managing raw material data and minimizing the risk of calculation errors. Nonetheless, the application is presently limited to cost of production calculations and does not encompass other financial reporting needs. Hence, further development is required in the future to transform it into a comprehensive financial system at PT Karunia Kencana Emas.
