Abstract

Tanaman sambiloto memiliki manfaat untuk pengobatan dan telah banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat Indonesia untuk berbagai macam penyakit. Sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Ness) memiliki kandungan senyawa aktif andrografolid. Tanaman membutuhkan nutrisi agar bisa hidup subur dan berkembang biak dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intervensi unsur hara terhadap pertumbuhan dan jumlah daun tanaman sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Nees) serta mengetahui kandungan tertinggi senyawa andrografolid dalam ekstrak sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Nees) segar yang telah mendapatkan tambahan unsur Kalium, Sulfur, Fosfat dan Kalsium. Metode yang digunakan untuk identifikasi dan penetapan kandungan andrografolid, yaitu Kromtografi Lapis Tipis dan Spektrofotometri UVVis. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan unsur yang paling efektif ditambahkan untuk pertumbuhan tinggi dan jumlah daun tanaman sambiloto yaitu Kalium dari KNO3 (0,44 g), sedangkan penambahan unsur yang dapat menghasilkan kandungan andrografolid tertinggi, yaitu Kalsium dari CaCl2 (0,12 g) dengan kandungan andrografolid sebesar 15,31 %. ---- Sambiloto plant has medicinal benefits and has been widely used by Indonesian people for various diseases. Sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Ness) contains andrographolide, the active compound. Plants need nutrition to thrive and reproduce well. This research aims to determine the effect of nutrient intervention on the growth and number of leave of sambiloto plant (Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Nees) and to determine the highest content of andrographolide compound in fresh sambiloto extract (Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Nees) get additional elements of Kalium, Sulfur, Phosphate and Calcium. The methods used to identify and determine andrographolide levels are Thin Layer Chromtography and UV-Vis Spectrophotometry. Based on the results of observations, the most effective element added for the growth of sambiloto plant is Kalium from KNO3 (0.44 g) while the element that produces the highest andrographolide content is Calcium from CaCl2 (0.12 g) with an andrographolide content of 15.31%.
