Abstract
Antioksidan adalah senyawa yang dapat menghambat proses oksidasi dengan mengikat radikal bebas, dimana radikal bebas dapat menyebabkan kerusakan kulit. Tanaman yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai antioksidan, yaitu lidah buaya dan Tea tree oil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan kombinasi ekstrak etanol lidah buaya dan Tea tree oil yang diformulasikan dalam bentuk sediaan krim. Ekstraksi lidah buaya dilakukan dengan metode maserasi meggunakan pelarut etanol 70%. Ekstrak serta sediaan diuji aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan metode DPPH. Kombinasi yang dilakukan, yaitu kombinasi (1:1) (1:2) (2:1) Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi 1:2 memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang paling besar 35,71 ppm kemudian dibuat formula dengan konsentrasi 0,7% (F1); 1,4% (F2); 2,1% (F3) dan dilakukan evaluasi, yaitu organoleptis, pH, daya sebar, viskositas, sentrifugasi dan uji aktivitas antioksidan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa uji organoleptis, pH dan sentrifugasi memenuhi persyaratan, sedangkan Uji daya sebar dan viskositas tidak memenuhi persyaratan. Nilai IC50 krim sebelum penyimpanan F1: 54,60 ppm, F2: 52,56 ppm, F3: 37,45 ppm termasuk golongan antioksidan sangat kuat setelah penyimpanan 28 hari terjadi kenaikan IC50 krim F1: 16,60 ppm, F2: 17,89 ppm, F3: 7,54 ppm. Sediaan krim formula 3 memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang sangat kuat.;---Antioxidants are compounds that can inhibit the oxidation process by binding free radicals causes of skin damage. Plant that can be utilized as an antioxidant, namely Aloe vera and Tea tree oil. This research aims to determine the antioxidant activity of the combination of aloe ethanol extract and Tea tree oil formulated in the form of cream preparations. The extraction of Aloe vera is done by maceration method using ethanol solvent 70%. Extracts and preparations are tested for antioxidant activity using the DPPH method. Combination done, namely combination (1:1) (1:2) (2:1) from the results showed that the combination of 1:2 has a high antioxidant activity of 35.71 ppm then made a formula with a concentration of 0.7% (F1); 1.4% (F2); 2.1% (F3) and evaluation, namely Organoleptis, pH, coverage, viscosity, centrifugation and test antioxidant activity. The evaluation shows that organoleptical tests, pH and centrifugation meet the requirements, while the coverage and viscosity test do not meet the requirements. The IC50 value of the cream prior to storage F1:54.60 ppm, F2:52.56 ppm, F3:37.45 ppm including a very strong antioxidant group after 28 days of storage occurred IC50 increase of F1 cream: 16.60 ppm, F2:17.89 ppm, F3:7.54 ppm. Formula 3 Cream preparations have very strong antioxidant activity.
