Abstract

Kejadian balita pendek atau biasa disebut dengan stunting merupakan salah satu masalah gizi yang dialami oleh balita di dunia saat ini. Menurut data Studi Status Gizi Indonesia (SSGI) tahun 2021, presentase stunting di Kota Bandung berada di angka 26,4 %. Presentase tersebut menjadikan Kota Bandung berstatus kuning, karena memiliki prevalensi diantara 20-30%. Oleh karena itu stunting masih menjadi permasalahan serius dan harus di lakukan pencegahan dan penanggulangan agar angka prevalensi stunting bisa mengalami penurunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran asupan nutrisi pada balita dan untuk mengetahui gambaran demografi balita di Puskesmas Pasundan Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah balita di Posyandu Puskesmas Pasundan Bandung. Teknik penentuan sampel yaitu probability sampling dengan teknik simple random sampling, sehingga didapatkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 116 balita. Hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa secara deskriptif asupan gizi balita pada penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, namun demikian tetap ditemukannya kasus balita stunting yaitu sebanyak 42 balita. Secara uji bivariat menyebutkan bahwa dalam penelitian ini pengetahuan ibu, asupan gizi balita, dan sanitasi & higienitas terdapat hubungan dengan status gizi balita. --- The incidence of short toddlers, commonly known as stunting, is one of the nutritional problems experienced by toddlers in the world today. According to data from the 2021 Indonesian Nutritional Status Study (SSGI), the percentage of stunting in the city of Bandung is 26.4%. This percentage gives the city of Bandung a yellow status because it has a prevalence of between 20 and 30%. Therefore, stunting is still a serious problem, and prevention and management must be carried out so that the prevalence of stunting can decrease. This study aims to describe the nutritional intake of toddlers and find out the demographics of toddlers at the Pasundan Health Center in Bandung. This research is descriptive and quantitative. The population in the study were toddlers at Posyandu Puskesmas Pasundan Bandung. The technique for determining the sample is probability sampling with a simple random sampling technique, so that a total sample of 116 children is obtained. The results of the analysis showed that, descriptively, the nutritional intake of toddlers in this study was included in the very high category; however, cases of stunting were still found, namely 42 toddlers. The bivariate test stated that in this study, mother's knowledge, toddler's nutritional intake, and sanitation and hygiene had a relationship with the toddler's nutritional status.
