Abstract

Antosianin merupakan senyawa turunan polifenol yang memiliki banyak fungsi fisiologis penting pada setiap organisme hidup. Antosianin pada tanaman dapat digunakan dalam bidang farmasi berupa sediaan kosmetika karena tidak memiliki efek berbahaya. Studi literatur ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manfaat antosianin pada tanaman yang dapat digunakan dalam sediaan kosmetika dengan melakukan penelusuran pustaka berupa jurnal penelitian guna mendapatkan data yang relevan. Berdasarkan hasil penelusuran pustaka didapatkan data bahwa kadar antosianin dapat diuji penetapan kadar dengan menggunakan metode pH diferensial yang paling umum digunakan dan memiliki tingkat akurasi yang baik, pada bagian tumbuhan yang mengandung kadar antosianin tertinggi rata-rata terdapat pada kulit dengan kadar antosianin 40,767 (mg/100g)-731 (mg/100g). Dalam kajian pustaka antosianin pada tanaman dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sediaan kosmetika berupa, antiaging/antioksidan, moisturizer, tabir surya, antibakteri, dan pewarna alami pada kosmetik yang diuji analisis dengan menggunakan alat spektrofotometer UV-Vis. --- Anthocyanins are polyphenol derivatives that have many important physiological functions in every living organism. Anthocyanins in plants can be used in the pharmaceutical field in the form of cosmetic preparations because they do not have harmful effects. This literature study aims to analyze the benefits of anthocyanins in plants that can be used in cosmetic preparations by searching the literature in the form of journals to obtain relevant data. Based on the results of the search, it was found that the levels of anthocyanins could be tested using the most commonly used differential method and had a good level of accuracy, on the part of the plant containing the highest anthocyanin levels on average found in the skin with anthocyanin levels of 40,767 (mg / 100g)-731 (mg / 100g). In a literature review, anthocyanins in plants can be used as cosmetic preparations in the form of antiaging / antioxidants, moisturizers, sunscreens, antibacterials, and natural dyes in cosmetics that are analyzed using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer.
