Abstract
Perubahan zaman yang modern seperti saat ini berdampak pada gaya hidup masyarakat. Salah satu perubahan yang terlihat pada masyarakat yakni gaya hidup yang cepat dan instan. Kurangnya aktivitas fisik, paparan polusi udara dan stres yang menyebabkan imunitas tubuh terus menurun. Sehingga diperlukannya suplemen kesehatan sebagai penunjang pertahanan sistem imun. Suplemen JET-20 diperuntukan sebagai peningkat daya tahan tubuh terhadap serangan berbagai macam penyakit, terutama terhadap infeksi virus. Selain dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya aktivitas imunomodulator dari suplemen JET20 terhadap sistem imun pada hewan percobaan tikus jantan wistar dan mengetahui dosis suplemen JET-20 yang efektif terhadap sistem imun. Oleh karena itu diperlukannya penelitian dengan metode uji bersihan karbon untuk penetapannya. Metode bersihan karbon merupakan pengukuran secara spektrofotometer laju eliminasi partikel karbon dari darah hewan yang merupakan ukuran aktivitas fagositosis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa suplemen JET-20 pada dosis 7,2 mg/kgBB, 72 mg/kgBB dan 720 mg/kgBB memiliki potensi sebagai sebagai imunostimulan karena dapat meningkatkan sistem imun non spesifik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa suplemen JET-20 memiliki aktivitas sebagai imunomodulator terhadap peningkatan fagositosis dibanding kontrol normal, dosis yang efektif dari suplemen JET-20 yaitu 720 mg/kgBB dengan nilai indeks stimulansia 3,9 yang masuk kedalam golongan imunostimulan kuat. --- Changes in modern times like today have an impact on people's lifestyles. One of the changes seen in society is a fast and instant lifestyle. Lack of physical activity, exposure to air pollution and stress that causes the body's immunity to continue to decline. So that the need for health supplements to support the immune system defense. The JET-20 supplement is intended as an increase in the body's resistance to attacks of various diseases, especially against viral infections. Apart from that, this study aims to determine the immunomodulatory activity of JET-20 supplement against the immune system in experimental animals of male wistar rats and to determine the dose of JET-20 supplement that is effective against the immune system. Therefore, it is necessary to research with carbon clearance test method for its determination. Carbon clearance method is a spectrophotometer measurement of the rate of elimination of carbon particles from animal blood which is a measure of phagocytic activity. The results of the analysis showed that JET-20 supplements at doses of 7.2 mg/kgBW, 72 mg/kgBW and 720 mg/kgBW have potential as immunostimulants because they can increase the non-specific immune system. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the JET-20 supplement has activity as an immunomodulator to increase phagocytosis compared to normal controls, the effective dose of the JET-20 supplement is 720 mg/kgBW with a stimulant index value of 3.9 which belongs to the strong immunostimulant group.
