Abstract
Silika adalah senyawa hasil polimerisasi asam silikat, yang tersusun dari rantai satuan SiO4 tetrahedral dengan formula umum SiO2. Kristal silika yang terhirup oleh seseorang yang bekerja di industri pertambangan, industri farmasi dan industri konstruksi dalam skala yang besar dapat menyebabkan silikosis. Silikosis termasuk ke dalam salah satu jenis penyakit pneumoconiosis yang menyerang sistem pernapasan. Sampai saat ini pengukuran kristal silika dalam menetapkan diagnosa silikosis masih sangat terbatas oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pengembangan analisis dalam pengukuran silika sebagai biomarker untuk diagnosa dini penyakit silikosis. Metode ekstraksi silika yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode destruksi basah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur kadar kristal silika quartz dari semen portland setelah dilakukan destruksi basah menggunakan alat FTIR-ATR. Parameter pengujian evaluasi meliputi linearitas, akurasi, presisi, batas deteksi (LOD) dan batas kuantitasi (LOQ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil uji linearitas R2 = 0,9986, hasil akurasi 73,68%, 96,35%, 130,67%. Presisi 14,174%, LOD sebesar 16,92%, dan LOQ sebesar 50,75%. Dapat disimpulkan hasil yang didapatkan dari metode yang dilakukan masih belum memenuhi syarat parameter evaluasi. --- Silica is a polymerized compound of silicic acid, which is composed of a chain of tetrahedral SiO4 units with the general formula SiO2. Silica crystals inhaled by someone working in the mining industry, pharmaceutical industry and construction industry on a large scale can cause silicosis. Silicosis is a type of pneumoconiosis that attacks the respiratory system. Until now, the measurement of silica crystals in determining the diagnosis of silicosis is still very limited, therefore it is necessary to develop an analysis in measuring silica as a biomarker for the early diagnosis of silicosis. The silica extraction method carried out in this study used the wet digestion method. The purpose of this study was to measure the content of silica quartz crystals from portland cement after wet digestion using the FTIR-ATR tool. The evaluation test parameters include linearity, accuracy, precision, limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantitation (LOQ). The results showed the results of the linearity test R2 = 0.9986, the results of the accuracy were 73.68%, 96.35%, 130.67%. Precision is 14.174%, LOD is 16.92%, and LOQ is 50.75%. It can be concluded that the results obtained from the method carried out still do not meet the evaluation parameters requirements.
