Abstract

Hesperidin adalah flavonon glikosida yang banyak ditemukan dalam bush jeruk dan dapat ditemukan juga diberbagai jenis jeruk, sebagian besar hesperidin terdapat pada bagian kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk isolasi senyawa hesperidin dari limbah kulit jeruk lemon dengan cara yang lebih sederhana dan dapat mengefisienkan waktu pengerjaan, yaitu menggunakan pelarutan bertahap dengan campuran pelarut etanol dan wash benzen dengan berbagai perbandingan (95:5, 90:10, 80:20). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa krud hesperidin terbaik dengan rendemen 0,428% adalah fraksi B2 dengan perbandingan (90:10). Krud besperidin dikarakterisasi menggunakan Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT), Titik Didih, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Spektrofotometer UV-Vis, dan Kromatografi Cair Kinerja Tinggi (KCKT). Hasil analisis dengan KCKT pada panjang gelombang 276 nm menunjukan tingkat kemurnian hesperidin sebesar 81.76% --- Hesperidin is a flavonone glycoside that is commonly found in citrus fruits and can also be found in various types of oranges, mast of which is found in the skin. This study aims to isolate hesperidin compounds from lemon peel waste in a simpler way and can make processing time efficient, namely using gradual dissolution with a mixture of ethanol and wash benzene solvents in various ratios (95:5, 90:10, 80:20).. The results showed that the best hesperidin crucible with a yield of 0.428% was the B2 fraction with a comparison (90:10). Hesperidin crucibles were characterized using Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), Melting Point, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The results of the analysis with HPLC at a wavelength of 276 nm showed the purity level of hesperidin wer 81.76%
